Setup

Setup is complete in two parts:

  1. An administrator adds Sifterra to your system.
  2. A setup user opens Sifterra Setup, enters the required connection details, tests them, and confirms access for the people who will use it.

This section breaks the process into a few shorter topics so you can move through installation, access, and service connections in order.

  • Install and access covers extension installation and permission assignment.
  • Connect services walks through the first-run setup steps for the main connection and optional integrations.
  • Readiness checklist explains how to confirm setup is ready and what defaults or follow-up checks matter.

Core setup is ready when the extension is installed, the right users can access Sifterra, and the main connection test succeeds on Sifterra Setup.

If you also plan to use AI-based field matching or shared-file intake, treat those connections as part of setup before you move into analyzer creation.
