Auto-Map Standard Fields
If you already have field names and mainly want help matching them to Business Central, use Auto-Map Standard Fields or Auto-Map Unmapped Fields.
This automatic help works best for common field names such as document numbers, dates, vendor or customer numbers, quantities, descriptions, prices, and totals. It also gets stronger over time because Sifterra remembers mappings that users choose repeatedly for the same document type.
When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”Use auto-map when:
- your mapping rows already exist
- the field names are reasonably clear
- you want the obvious table and field matches filled in quickly
What to expect
Section titled “What to expect”Auto-map is strongest on familiar names such as:

It is weaker when names are vague, custom, or easy to confuse. Review every result before you finish the analyzer.
