Readiness checklist

Core setup is ready when all of these are true:

  • In Extensions, Sifterra shows Installed.
  • The right users have been given either Sifterra - Full or Sifterra - Read.
  • In Sifterra Setup, Connection Status shows Connected.
  • Last Test Date is filled in after the successful test.

If you are also using the optional SharePoint connection, setup is ready when its connection test finishes successfully and your chosen site, library, and root folder are saved.

Built-in defaults to know

Section titled “Built-in defaults to know”
  • Auto processing starts turned on.
  • The starting wait time is 5 minutes.
  • Processed documents are kept for 90 days by default.
  • Automatic document deletion starts turned off.
  • Shared file library use starts turned off.
  • The default shared file root folder is Sifterra.
  • Automatic shared-file folder creation starts turned on.
  • Automatic shared-file movement starts turned on.
  • Delete-after-archive starts turned off.

Important follow-up check

Setup is not fully usable for document upload until at least one analyzer is active. “Setup is finished” on this page still does not make the system usable by itself.
